Apple iPhone selling on eBay for Thousands instead of the $599 Retail
|
Supply and demand for the Apple iPhone has created an eBay market for overpriced cell phones. The average selling price for the 8GB version is going for around $800 on eBay currently. That is $200 more than retail which is priced at a hefty $599.
There was a few auction of the Apple iPhone that closed for $1,200, but if supply is short, the price may possibly go up more.
There was two iPhone that sold for a whopping $10,000 another for $3,000 and a few in the $2,000 price range. There was a large number of Apple iPhones sold for $1,200. But it seems like the more iPhones are selling for the price around $800 today as the supply and demand are being balanced out.
With any eBay auction make sure to check out the seller’s feedback and read all the terms of the auction, including return policies.
